Issuing a license

How to issue a license exactly as negotiated.

When you can issue

Once the buyer's payment (deposit confirmation) is complete, the Issue button becomes available in the chat room and the order details. If the amount went up through negotiation, you can request an additional payment from the order details before issuing. You can't issue while an additional payment is pending, so issue after it's confirmed or cancel the additional payment request.

Issue the license

The license is issued with exactly the start date and additional agreements saved in the license draft. If you leave the start date blank, it starts today. For rights other than name/brand usage rights, you must write what you confirmed in conversation—such as targets, quantities, and schedule—in the additional agreements before you can issue.

After issuing

The license certificate is delivered to the buyer right away and the order changes to complete. When the buyer confirms the purchase, the payout process begins; even if they don't, it's confirmed automatically 14 days after the start date. The buyer can also confirm before the start date.
